Kristel Stone

Bio

Kristel is a lifelong resident of Wadsworth who is excited to be on the CFHG team working in the capacity of Membership Coordinator.  Her main role is to make sure every member of CrossFit HighGear feels valued, appreciated and is accomplishing his/her goals.

Kristel is extremely thankful to having CrossFit in her life.  After seven years of having fertility issues and gaining over 100 pounds she was blessed with her firstborn then shortly after two more children. With all the extra weight and baggage she found it impossible to even think about working out.  As it turns out, for Christmas 2011 her husband bought her a gym membership and after a year of personal training and losing 100 pounds she tried CrossFit for the first time and fell in love with the sport!  She loves the positive, uplifting, encouraging environment it brings. The personal challenge keeps her coming back for more!

In addition to CrossFit, Kristel loves to play softball.  She has an entrepeneurial spirit and has been a key player in her husband’s business ventures.  She lives on their family farm and enjoys creating healthy recipes and cooking for others.

Kristel’s passion is working hard to be the healthiest and best she can be through proper eating and fitness. She loves life and people and hopes to let her light shine for others to feel loved and encouraged to be the best they can be.
